Apr\u00e8s avoir pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 plusieurs <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voxelmatters.com\/ricohs-uk-customer-experience-centre-to-include-aluminum-binder-jetting\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>applications de projection de liant d&rsquo;aluminium<\/strong><\/a>l&rsquo;entreprise s&rsquo;int\u00e9resse d\u00e9sormais aux c\u00e9ramiques techniques avec une nouvelle approche PHM (Particle Homogenising Modeling). <\/p>\n\n<p>Le projet, dirig\u00e9 au Japon par Kiichi Kamoda, chef de projet de la fabrication additive pour les c\u00e9ramiques structurelles chez <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ricoh.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Ricoh Company Limited<\/strong><\/a> (RCL), vise la production par jet de liant de grandes pi\u00e8ces fabriqu\u00e9es avec des c\u00e9ramiques techniques telles que l&rsquo;alumine et le carbure de silicium. Comme indiqu\u00e9 r\u00e9cemment dans <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voxelmatters.report\/product\/technical-ceramic-am-market-2023\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>l&rsquo;\u00e9tude de march\u00e9 de VoxelMatters sur l&rsquo;AM des c\u00e9ramiques techniques<\/strong><\/a>de VoxelMatters, il s&rsquo;agit d&rsquo;un petit secteur avec un potentiel de croissance tr\u00e8s \u00e9lev\u00e9. Une partie de ce potentiel r\u00e9side dans la capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 produire rapidement des pi\u00e8ces de grande taille \u00e0 l&rsquo;aide de la technologie de projection de liant.  <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/3d.ricoh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/image-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-32856\" style=\"width:348px;height:326px\" width=\"348\" height=\"326\" srcset=\"https:\/\/3d.ricoh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/image-1.png 640w, https:\/\/3d.ricoh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/image-1-300x281.png 300w, https:\/\/3d.ricoh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/image-1-200x188.png 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 348px) 100vw, 348px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<p>L&rsquo;\u00e9quipe R&amp;D de Ricoh souligne que les c\u00e9ramiques ne peuvent pas \u00eatre fondues et moul\u00e9es car elles ont un point de fusion \u00e9lev\u00e9 et ne sont pas facilement usinables. Ainsi, dans les m\u00e9thodes de traitement existantes pour les pi\u00e8ces en c\u00e9ramique, il y a un compromis entre la taille, l&rsquo;\u00e9paisseur et la complexit\u00e9 de la forme. Il en va de m\u00eame pour les imprimantes 3D existantes pour les mat\u00e9riaux c\u00e9ramiques.  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Le processus<\/h2>\n\n<p>L&rsquo;entreprise s&rsquo;est donc tourn\u00e9e vers un processus appel\u00e9 Particle Homogenising Modeling (PHM) pour produire des pi\u00e8ces vertes plus denses en ajoutant une encre \u00e0 base de nanoparticules.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1008\" height=\"492\" src=\"https:\/\/3d.ricoh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/image-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-32860\" srcset=\"https:\/\/3d.ricoh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/image-2.png 1008w, https:\/\/3d.ricoh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/image-2-300x146.png 300w, https:\/\/3d.ricoh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/image-2-768x375.png 768w, https:\/\/3d.ricoh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/image-2-200x98.png 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1008px) 100vw, 1008px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<p>Ricoh estime qu&rsquo;une plus grande utilisation de la c\u00e9ramique peut contribuer \u00e0 divers domaines. Par exemple, l&rsquo;utilisation de la c\u00e9ramique signifie que les pi\u00e8ces expos\u00e9es \u00e0 une chaleur \u00e9lev\u00e9e ou \u00e0 des environnements corrosifs peuvent \u00eatre l\u00e9g\u00e8res et que l&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 du syst\u00e8me peut \u00eatre am\u00e9lior\u00e9e. Ricoh a l&rsquo;intention d&rsquo;utiliser le PHM pour obtenir des fonctions et une qualit\u00e9 impossibles dans le pass\u00e9 en contr\u00f4lant l&rsquo;homog\u00e9n\u00e9isation, un ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne extr\u00eamement complexe d\u00e9clench\u00e9 par une r\u00e9action entre les particules granul\u00e9es et l&rsquo;encre contenant des nanoparticules.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Ricoh d\u00e9veloppe la mod\u00e9lisation de l&rsquo;homog\u00e9n\u00e9isation des particules pour relever ces d\u00e9fis. En travaillant sur les mat\u00e9riaux et les processus, l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe de d\u00e9veloppement d\u00e9termine comment les objets en c\u00e9ramique peuvent \u00eatre fabriqu\u00e9s, dans les plus brefs d\u00e9lais, pour avoir les formes et la r\u00e9sistance requises pour les composants structurels. <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"460\" height=\"243\" src=\"https:\/\/3d.ricoh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/image-3.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-32864\" srcset=\"https:\/\/3d.ricoh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/image-3.png 460w, https:\/\/3d.ricoh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/image-3-300x158.png 300w, https:\/\/3d.ricoh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/image-3-200x106.png 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 460px) 100vw, 460px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<p>Dans la m\u00e9thode PHM, les particules c\u00e9ramiques primaires (petites particules) sont li\u00e9es \u00e0 une petite quantit\u00e9 de r\u00e9sine pour former des particules secondaires (particules granul\u00e9es), qui sont \u00e9tal\u00e9es \u00e0 l&rsquo;aide d&rsquo;un rouleau. L&rsquo;encre contenant des nanoparticules de c\u00e9ramique est appliqu\u00e9e sur les zones cibles de la couche de particules secondaires. L&rsquo;encre brise les particules secondaires en s&rsquo;\u00e9talant et les nanoparticules p\u00e9n\u00e8trent dans les interstices entre les particules primaires. Ainsi, les nanoparticules de c\u00e9ramique sont \u00e9troitement li\u00e9es entre elles, de mani\u00e8re homog\u00e8ne, dans toute la couche. Cette structure permet de fritter efficacement la couche. Ce processus est r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9 jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 ce que l&rsquo;objet soit form\u00e9 dans la poudre ; les \u00e9l\u00e9ments liquides de l&rsquo;encre sont ensuite s\u00e9ch\u00e9s pour laisser un corps vert. Le corps vert est ensuite retir\u00e9 de la poudre et cuit pour \u00e9vaporer les \u00e9l\u00e9ments de r\u00e9sine internes. L&rsquo;objet est ainsi fritt\u00e9 pour obtenir une densit\u00e9 \u00e9lev\u00e9e.         <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Quelle est la prochaine \u00e9tape ?<\/h2>\n\n<p>Selon Ricoh, cette technologie permettra de r\u00e9soudre le probl\u00e8me du compromis entre la complexit\u00e9 de la forme, la r\u00e9sistance du mat\u00e9riau, le temps de production et les co\u00fbts de production, qui se pose souvent avec les processus conventionnels. Ricoh n&rsquo;est pas le premier \u00e0 tenter d&rsquo;int\u00e9grer des encres \u00e0 nanoparticules dans des processus additifs c\u00e9ramiques, mais l&rsquo;entreprise a l&rsquo;intention d&rsquo;exploiter son expertise en mati\u00e8re de d\u00e9veloppement d&rsquo;imprimantes et de toners pour combiner la technologie du jet d&rsquo;encre avec celle du traitement des poudres afin de cr\u00e9er une fonctionnalit\u00e9 sans pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent.
