Les ressorts du dispositif \u00e9taient sujets \u00e0 la casse et les coussinets en mousse offraient un contact tr\u00e8s faible avec le genou, ce qui les faisait fr\u00e9quemment glisser. <\/p>\n\n<p>De plus, de nombreux patients orthop\u00e9diques ont du mal \u00e0 marcher ou souffrent de maladies invalidantes telles que la paralysie c\u00e9r\u00e9brale. As such, this new part was designed specifically for AM and initially prototyped in FDM, which wasn\u2019t accurate enough for the end-use part, prompting the Rehabilitation Engineering team at ORLAU to reach out to Ricoh 3D as their additive manufacturing partner. <\/p>\n\n<p>Le scientifique clinicien Samuel Oliver a expliqu\u00e9 : \u00ab L&rsquo;objectif principal du projet \u00e9tait d&rsquo;am\u00e9liorer le confort des patients et la fonctionnalit\u00e9 pour les cliniciens, et l&rsquo;ambition \u00e9tait qu&rsquo;un nouveau KAD plus rentable remplace ceux actuellement utilis\u00e9s dans nos laboratoires de marche et dans d&rsquo;autres. \u00bb<\/p>\n\n<p>Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la libert\u00e9 offerte par l&rsquo;impression 3D, l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe a pu concevoir des fonctionnalit\u00e9s am\u00e9lior\u00e9es pour la pi\u00e8ce, am\u00e9liorant ainsi l&rsquo;ergonomie pour le patient et la fonctionnalit\u00e9 pour le personnel soignant. Surtout,\n un nouvel appareil peut \u00eatre install\u00e9 pendant que le patient est assis et confortable, ce qui\n est particuli\u00e8rement utile pour les patients qui ont du mal \u00e0 se tenir debout. <\/p>\n\n<p>Les coussinets de contact ont \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7us pour \u00eatre concaves afin de profiler le genou et offrir une surface de contact plus importante qu&rsquo;un coussinet plat, imitant ainsi la forme naturelle du genou. La taille du coussinet a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 augment\u00e9e pour am\u00e9liorer la surface de contact et la stabilit\u00e9 du dispositif. Le KAD original utilisait un syst\u00e8me \u00e0 ressort spiral\u00e9, co\u00fbteux et n\u00e9cessitant un remplacement r\u00e9gulier. Cet ajout astucieux garantit l&rsquo;alignement\n entre les deux genoux et une plus grande pr\u00e9cision, ce qui signifie que l&rsquo;ajustement est plus simple et peut\n \u00eatre reproduit efficacement.   <\/p>\n\n<p>Analyse FEA fournie\n confirmation que la conception propos\u00e9e fonctionnerait dans l&rsquo;environnement pr\u00e9vu\n avec un facteur de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 robuste int\u00e9gr\u00e9, garantissant que les marqueurs ne\n d\u00e9vier trop lorsqu&rsquo;il est serr\u00e9 au niveau du genou.
