Steve Rix, directeur et inventeur du moteur utilis\u00e9 aujourd&rsquo;hui par de nombreux fabricants d&rsquo;atomiseurs rotatifs \u00e0 grande vitesse, a contact\u00e9 Ricoh pour explorer comment l&rsquo;impression 3D pourrait concr\u00e9tiser ses ambitions en mati\u00e8re de performances accrues. <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>La solution<\/strong> | Les atomiseurs rotatifs sont utilis\u00e9s dans l&rsquo;industrie mini\u00e8re ou du b\u00e2timent pour la suppression de la poussi\u00e8re, le contr\u00f4le des odeurs, l&rsquo;humidification et le refroidissement adiabatique.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Ils y parviennent en atomisant et en pulv\u00e9risant de grands volumes de brouillard ultra-fin et \u00e0 faible impact sur la zone.<\/p>\n\n<p>Future Engineering Developments avait imagin\u00e9 trois solutions de conception innovantes pour la gamme MicroMist\u2122. La complexit\u00e9 de ces conceptions rendait leur fabrication tr\u00e8s difficile, voire impossible, par une autre m\u00e9thode que l&rsquo;impression 3D. <\/p>\n\n<p>En collaboration avec les experts en conception de Ricoh, l&rsquo;impression 3D a donn\u00e9 au concepteur la libert\u00e9 de cr\u00e9er exactement ce qui \u00e9tait n\u00e9cessaire pour une performance optimale des pi\u00e8ces. Les contraintes typiques de la fabrication monobloc traditionnelle et le co\u00fbt \u00e9lev\u00e9 de l&rsquo;outillage ont \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9limin\u00e9s, ce qui a donn\u00e9 naissance \u00e0 une solution hautement innovante. <\/p>\n\n<p>Ricoh a identifi\u00e9 le polypropyl\u00e8ne comme le mat\u00e9riau le plus performant pour cette application, car il permettait d&rsquo;obtenir un produit l\u00e9ger mais ultra-r\u00e9sistant, r\u00e9duisant la masse rotative de l&rsquo;atomiseur de 50 g par rapport \u00e0 un \u00e9quivalent en Nylon 12.
